TImbaland to Produce Jay-z's Next Record!!

Yo, straight out the camel's mouth, (no pun intended), it looks like Timbaland will be producing Jay-z's next album in its entirety. Jay-z is good at keeping details of an album away from the public until the album is ready to go and hopefully this one drops sooner than we think. Here's what Tim had to say:

"He wants me to do the whole thing this time around," Timbaland told MTV. "I'mma make it a classic too. You better believe it. It'll be a monster! I always say this: You get a first single from me, I'mma get you up to gold. And it's hard to get you up to gold in this day [and age]

"Jay should never chill," Timbaland shared with MTV. "We had a long talk, and I really talked to him. Jay-Z does it for the love. That's different. When somebody does it for the love, you don't stop. He has everything, but he's still current. A million people are buying his album regardless."

WOW! ...this could be an amazing thing, or it could be a terrible thing. Even though Timbaland is a living legend and a fuckin' great, not all Timbaland-produced albums are a go. Actually, excluding Missy's early rap sheet and a few Timbaland albums, all the rest have been pretty mediocre to say the least. But I mean, c'mon, it's Jay-z & Timbaland so yeah... this is a big deal!
