Plies Is No Gooooooon, Folks

Another hardcore, goon-ass, super hood, gangsta nigga gets his early this week. Plies is a phony-tatter-tot, just like the rest of 'em. I feel sorry for the people who honestly believe these guys are doing what they say they are... these niggas are just playing the part. They put on they dickies and wife beaters, tat themselves up, master the slang, do alittle dirt here and there, know a few people that are actually in the streets, treat 'em like references and shout 'em out knowing they themselves aren't doing a goshdarn thing, and boom, hop on the scene like they're termigangster 2. I wish people would realize they're just playing a fuckin' role. Their lyrics sound like movie scripts... people, don't believe the hype. Here's what The Florida Department of Law Enforcement has on file on Mr. Plies:

"The FDLE’s criminal record for Plies shows that the self-described “goon affiliated, ex drug dealer” who’s “resume solid, street cred bigger” has been arrested just twice within his home state of Florida during his adult life, with both arrests taking place two years ago.

The 32-year-old was arrested for the first time at the age of 29 on April 12, 2006 for the misdemeanor charge of resisting an officer without violence.

The latter of his two adult arrests came during a well-publicized shooting at a Gainesville, Florida nightclub after a Plies performance on July 2, 2006. According to reports, members of the rapper’s entourage, including his older brother, Ronell “Big Gates” Lavatte, pulled out guns and fired in the club after Plies, who’s performance was running long, became angry when his microphone was cut off so that Lil Boosie could begin to perform.

the rapper had been cited for a handful of traffic offenses but never had any criminal charges brought against him."

So his claims of being in jail, calling his momma like get me out blah blah are totally false. His criminal record does not match that of his super thug lyrics. Most of the shit that happened in his life... happened around him with other friends + family that were really out there. I just look at it like, these gangsta artists can't be as real as they claim they are... because the real ones are actually in the streets and EDIT: these niggas are just in the booth or on the red carpet next to Ciara and Chris Brown. I just don't like liars is all.

These guys are a mess man. They swear they are super gangstas, they lie about what they've been through and exaggerate to the extreme. When things about their past doesn't add up to their lyrics, they lie up and down instead of just giving the real. If these guys are examples of "real ass niggas"... I definitely aint tryna be one.
